Circular economy closes the sustainability loop

NSW Circular highlights urgency of addressing landfill constraints

This major feature special report in The Australian Financial Review features NSW Circular’s fantastic Chief Circular Economist Dr Kar Mei Tang, highlighting the economic opportunity that a circular economy brings alongside the environmental benefits associated with the transition.

Chief Circular Economist, NSW Circular, Kar Mei Tang says that the circular economy came about not simply as a response to environmental concerns. “It’s an attempt to increase economic efficiency of business processes.”

This article is a summary of a recent panel discussion highlighting the benefits of advancing the circular economy for Australia and Australian businesses, which Kar Mei Tang attended alongside Sanjay Dayal, Brendan Gill, and Robert Lervasi.
