One month after ACEF23, Circular Australia reflects on the high-impact exchanges at the 2nd Australian Circular Economy Forum, where leaders across government, industry, NGOs and academia came together to advance circular thinking into tangible action. Recommendations from roundtables are being synthesised into a policy-forward report to be presented to the Federal Government, reinforcing the organisation’s mission to operationalise circular economy solutions before 2030.
ACEF23 served as a pivotal platform, fostering cross-sector collaboration through expert-led taskforces—covering areas like Finance & Investment, Precincts & Infrastructure, and Industry—as well as elevating First Nations voices and expanding the reach of circular leadership. The forum also laid the groundwork for continued momentum via participation in Impact X’s Sydney Summit, where the first-ever circular economy stream will amplify these insights and drive systemic transformation.
