The Rapid Review Research Funding has now been launched – find all the details here.
NSW Circular is excited to announce its upcoming Rapid Review Research Funding, which seeks to harness the capabilities of NSW universities to address critical circular economy challenges facing NSW industry, government and communities.
NSW Circular is funding four Rapid Reviews in alignment with four of their Taskforces and their core objectives: Finance & Investment, Industry, NSW Government and Precincts & Infrastructure. The NSW Circular Taskforces bring together industry and research to help secure the social, economic and environmental benefits of transitioning to a circular economy. Each Taskforce will release a Circular Challenge they wish to have explored through a rapid research review, offering $17k funding to each selected university research team, as determined through an EOI process.
These rapid reviews will contribute to NSW Circular’s work in setting out the evidence – state of play, opportunities and next steps – on priority topics to advance the circular economy in New South Wales.
Set to launch in early August, NSW Circular will invite NSW universities to submit their expressions of interest in pursuing this opportunity.
From launch, university research teams will have 6 weeks to complete their applications, which will be made available via the NSW Circular Website. Once selected, the successful teams will be given 9 weeks to complete and submit their final report, which will then be published in early 2022.
