One month on: The 2nd Australian Circular Economy Forum 2023

Jul 31, 2023

Wow it’s been one month since our Australian Circular Economy Forum 2023 (ACEF23)!

We are proud of the deep insights into the latest circular economy thinking, planning, policy and projects we shared during the day. We hope those who attended gained momentum to implement circular change in their own organisation.

A recommendations report will be finalised as a result of the roundtable discussions and will be presented to the Federal government shortly.

Circular Australia can help you and your organisation operationalise the circular economy – moving from theory to practice. Please reach out to our globally leading team including – Chief Circular Designer, Leyla Acaroglu, Chief Circular Engineer Ali Abbas, Chief Circular Entrepreneur Yas Grigaliunas and join our taskforce Chairs in leading the change – Finance & Investment Katie Dowling, Precincts & Infrastructure Ed Steane & Jenni Phillipe and Industry Bronwyn Voyce.

Our mission is to accelerate the transition to an Australian Circular Economy by 2030, supporting the leadership of the Albanese government and our State and Territory partners.

This means we are committed to facilitating a critical voice for Indigenous Australian decision-makers like Susan Moylan-Coombs and our First Nations Pacific Island neighbours. And we look forward to building these partnerships.

The dialogues we held in ACEF are just the first step – we’re excited to continue to part with our trusted partner Impact X at their Sydney Summit, on 1-3 November. Take advantage of this opportunity to be a part of the first ‘circular economy’ workstream of their annual event – don’t miss this chance to continue your input.
