Ed Steane MPIA is a urban policy adviser with a strong interest in the potential of the circular economy to improve urban outcomes for communities in Australia and New Zealand. Ed has a background in environment and planning law, and has advised all three levels of Australian government on urban policy and sustainability issues. Ed is currently leading the establishment of a new Urban Policy branch within Transport for NSW’s Cities and Active Transport Division, on secondment from the NSW Government’s Greater Cities Commission where he is Director, Sustainability and Infrastructure.
